ABIGORUM formed in April 2012 by Aleksey Korolyov in Saint Petersburg (Russia). Genre of project is blackened doom metal mix with dark ambient. In that time, were released: self-titled demo in 2012, single "My Haemophilia" (about the musician's own disease) in 2013, collaboration album "Unholy Ghost Liturgy" (with Cryostasium) in 2016 and split album "Spectral Shadows" (with Striborg) in 2018... On January 26th of 2019, 2 musicians from Germany joined the band - Tino Thiele (from Trond, Wulfgar and Metamorph) and Sandra Batsch. That's why the group's location became international - Russia (St. Petersburg) & Germany (Brandenburg). The genre of the project hasn't changed, it was decided to record the album in German language in the genre Black/Doom Metal with elements of Dark Ambient.

Album "Exaltatus Mechanism" tells the story of the fascination of the black and grey side of evil, the ridicule of vices and hatred for people who are accustomed to a normal life and do not understand that everything around them is just an illusion, and that they are slaves. Beautiful songs with awesome breaks and a punk attitude. Bet these guys listened to some Clash or Sex Pistols at some point. Agree with other comments about good mix of atmospherics with edginess. Overall makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside 👹 imprint
